Having seen firsthand cases where sexual misconduct was later termed "rape" by the "accusing" female, I'll doubt the validity of this.
The child porn thing, well, no one has ever been kicked out for normal porn by Ward Hall (at least not to my knowledge). Child porn, now this is the first I've heard of it. Wouldn't surprise me for that to end up in separation.
When I was in college I know a guy who got charged of having child porn because he (19) and his 17 year-6 month old girlfriend took some pictures. He was drunk and showed them off to a few people. It spread from there, somehow daddy found out and blammo charges were brought up... I would bet this is probably a similar case, not one in which someone is spreading pictures of 5 year olds.
All I can say is you'd be surprised. Read the newspaper sometime.... some sick fvcks out there, and MANY of them in college.

You weren't there, so why don't you let the Navy legal system run its course?
I'm not going to get into details because the legal process hasn't run its course yet, but suffice it to say that usna is definitely justified in putting the rape case up for prosecution.
The guy in the child porn case has already been separated from the academy, so take that for what it's worth.
