Nice! Have you shot it yet? I've had the opportunity to shoot AAC and gemtechs on a HK tactical. .45 suppresed has a great sound to it.
A pretty good write up on the overall concept of suppressors from Wiki ...Nice!!! Just a question though. What happens should you move to a state that doesn't allow suppressors? Are you required to sell, or are you "grandfathered" (for lack of a better term) since you already have the BATF approval?
Good advice. As far as the ATF, one of my closest friends is a retired ATF Agent who has done some scarey shit enforcing our laws. He is a bigger "Gun Nut" than I am.A pretty good write up on the overall concept of suppressors from Wiki ...
SUPPRESSOR
ATF P 5400.7 (11/07) is usually the place to go for operative guidance. Basically stated: no Grandpa's allowed when you move into states where they're illegal 'cause there's nothing to grandfather -- you didn't live there and ex post facto does not apply to you. Just like full-auto's ... :icon_cryi ... but ALWAYS check the laws and check w/ the ATF. Believe it or not; they're not bad people ...

Like everything; there's exceptions and arcane rules/regs. Check w/ the ATF when in doubt. Keep a copy of your paperwork w/ the item at all times.
The FEDs charge $200 (tax) and attach specific paperwork to each suppressor you buy which certainly puts a dent in any potential "resale" market although lately they seem to be moving fast on some online auctions ... truth be known, the FEDs would LOVE IT if everyone would buy 100 suppressors and paid the tax 100 times ... :icon_wink
Ain't it GREAT livin' in a "free" country ... ???

Your rounds are in the mag backwards.
