Can anyone verify that this is real? The props on those planes were ginormous... one would think there would be a danger of prop-strike.

I'd say that he had about 2 feet prop to ground clearance as he crossed the ridges. He actually probably cleared the crew by about 10 feet or so. As for real, just listen to that Merlin purr. :icon_smil

it looks like it had just taken off, if you look at it coming out of the background you see it rise up a bit, although the gear was up when he passed the crew, but how long would it take to raise the gear?
