Whats going on? I have been reading the boards for a couple of months now but never really posted. I have a couple questions. I will be a junior next fall at the Univ. Of Oklahoma and I am a member of the Naval ROTC unit here as well. I am majoring in Aviation. My question is this : I should have about 150 hours of flight time in the event I get selected for flight training. Assuming I do, will I have that great of an advantage over the average Joe? considering I can already take off, fly, navigate thru VOR's and NDB's, shoot approaches, have a commercial license with instrument ratings etc etc..? I hear I may at API but at Primary it all even steven. Secondly, would people consider Aviation a technical major?? I mean I take Calc I and II engineering as well as both engine Physics, so why not?? and Third, are there any other training journals than John Wickhams and Steve Wilkins floating around?? Any answers and info would be appreciated. Plus this site is an awesome idea and it provides valuable information.
