Anybody know the details of what this program was?

SNA's and NFO's go went down to Pensacola before OCS, correct? They had physicals? Did the PRT? Why? Did this replace the physical at OCS?

I believe that it did, however only the recruiters that were aviators one of them had to be with the ACES group, and the program was too taxing on the recruiters' schedules. Therefore they dumped the program. That is what I was told anyway.

Eliminate distractions, focus on your goals and visualize what you hope to accomplish.

They had the program while I was going through Primary. One day, sitting around for a flight, all these long haired and unwashed college students showed up in rumpled flight suits and got rides in T34s.

I gathered from talking with them that they also got a tour down in Pensacola and the medical check if they needed it. It was an incentive program to get people to sign on the dotted line. Doubtful in todays environment, that the Navy needs more incentives.
