Wonder how quiet those actually are. I've heard you can take that an put it on your 5.56 AR with an adapter?
I know a guy here that has a silenced .308 and he uses subsonic rounds that he reloads. He was actually running the rounds through a chronometer into a hay bale in his garage in town!
It's really weird to shoot. You're just not used to it. You are expecting this huge bang and all you really get is some recoil and a pretty good pop and a whistle as it goes down range. The trick is the subsonic bullets or else it's still pretty loud.
He has a high-fenced ranch that he has to take at least 120-150 deer off of per year. The silenced weapon helps it not sound like WWIII on his ranch and the deer don't get quite as stressed...in theory. At least that was what he told the Sherriff when he was applying for the permit to have a silencer.
