Hi,
I'm interested in the Intell/Crypto Officer program with the Navy and I had a few questions I hope I can find a few answers for:
1) I've read that both fields are VERY competitive. So what % do they take each year? Less than 10%?
2) I have an undergrad in Computer Science from a major university, but not with a good GPA. I'm starting grad school this summer in Info Systems. Will a good GPA in Grad school counterbalance a low undergrad? I had read that USAF OTS boards didn't even look at the Grad School GPA, only undergrad.
3) Would being in the Naval Reserve help my chances? I had first thought of doing that, but found that Intel/Crypto Officer age limit was 35 ( I'm 30). So my question is, would it help if I joined the NR and striked for IS or CTT?
Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.
Thanks
