Great home in a great area of Norfolk, near NAS Norfolk. Depending on your gate it can take you anywhere from 7-10 minutes to get to work. From our house to the flight line, it is about 7 mins.
Our home is 3 bedroom, 2 bath and has an "option room" which could be a 4th bedroom, "brag" room, nursery, game room, family room, etc...
It was built in 1942 but fully renovated in 2006. The kitchen is updated with brand new cabinets and stainless appliances and the fridge conveys.
We also have a very large backyard with a storage building so there shouldn't be a need to rent a storage room anywhere in town. We will be leaving all of our lawn equipment. (Don't think it will do much good in storage for 3 years.)
The home does have washer/dryer hookups but if you don't have one and need one, we will leave ours.
The rent is $1550 and the non-refundable pet deposit is $350 for the first and $100 for the 2nd. There is a 2 dog limit. No cats. Smoke free home.
The public schools are: Elementary: Suburban Park; Middle: Winona-Lafayette; High School: Granby. Other schools less than 5 mins away are Norfolk Collegiate, Norfolk Christian, Talbot Park Pre-School, and Tabernacle Church Pre-School.
