This will be my first time applying for OCS. I thought a thread for the August board would be helpful to start for those interested.

AD: AWR1 / E-6
TIS: 9 years (waiver)
OAR: 45
AGE: 33 (waiver)
PRGM APPLYING FOR: SWO only
UNDERGRAD: BS in Sociology, GPA 2.98
(Graduated in 2011 before the Navy)
APPRAISALS:
O-5 SWO
O-5 Pilot
O-6 Pilot
All 10s on appraisals
LOR: 1 Retired E-8, former supervisor knows me well.
EVALS: MP, MP, EP (#7 of 56)

Package is submitted. Waiting for CNRC & OCM waiver approvals to see if I make it “At-Board”.

I m a civilian I'm 27
28 next year
Gpa 3.06
Oar 45
I ve used all my attempts.
I m starting my masters in Food science online
Bachelors in forensic chemistry
Graduated college 3 years ago
6 years working with federal agency in a lab

Enlisting the pay isn't worth it from what I'm making now. 120k
Reserves I feel I won't make officer
As it ll take a year to even clear boot and training I'm 29 in Jan of 2024
Please advise below

Had an internship with Lockheed Martin about 3 years ago
Have 2 LORs in the works from 2 teachers. (LM failed to respond to my LOR request lol)

Originally enlisted back in on October before switching to NUPOC. After that didn't work out in early-June, working on this SWO application.

First time applying for OCS. Enlisted into the Navy first, had some family stuff going on but I am already at this board. Just waiting on the results after the board convenes. I also applied for Supply as well which that board is right after this one.

No worries man, haha, actually got the LORs today funny enough. Just got to tweak my motivational statement from NUPOC and I should be set and ready to go

According to the most current FY22 Board Schedule on MyNavyHR, dated 06JUN22, it says 29AUG. Where is 15AUG guidance coming from?

The convene date has always been 29AUG based on the public board schedule. If your recruiters said something different, maybe they have inside information that hasn’t been posted on MyNavyHR.
