I'd like to extend an invite to any Airwarriors members, Academy alums especially, in the DC area to attend the 26th Annual Annapolis Cup. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, read the linked article. My fellow teammates and I would definitely appreciate the support, plus, there'll be plenty of extra beer to go around. Let the sarcastic commentary commence.:)

The details
Date: April 20th
Time: 12-5pm
Place: The lawn at St. John's College, Annapolis (pm for directions)

Hey Fam, I couldn't go last year as a plebe on duty- and I can't seem to get a straight answer -- what do mids (or at least Youngsters) that want to attend normally wear? I've seen pictures of people in Chokers, Dinner Dress White, and just regular Summer Dress Whites. My girlfriend will be in town and she'll be joining in on the Great Gatsby type style. Anyway, I'll be there. It'd be great to see some AW's out there.

Y'all just rock the regular whites. The dinner dress whites are what our plebe caddies wear, and the chokers are just people being tools. Every youngster I saw there last year wore whites.

'Fraid so...

As strange as the people there are... I have some amazing memories from that place. What a great town to not be a Boat School-er in...;):D

And that's "gasp..can it really be true...sir?" ;);):D:D

My whole time there, I never made it to one match. Engineering somehow always managed to bite me in the ass at the right (wrong) time. Glad to see it's on 4-20, haha.

I could tell you but I would have to kill you
Easy throwing that word around...:D;)

Go in your wedding best (or uniform) and have a great time...it is an absolute riot.

Just a reminder. The matches kick off at 1300 on Sunday on the St. John's College Lawn. Pre-game festivities/drinking starts at 1200, so get there early if you can. PM me for directions. Hope to see some of you out there!

Sorry... I know I'm a little late with this, but St. John's did pull out the win this year. 3-2 was the final score, with every match going down to the final shot or two. On the bright side, my partner and I won our match, which was pretty sweet. :D

Here are some pictures.
