Is it too late to talk like a pirate?
So, TLAPD was the day I checked in to OCS. That is, I got my orders endorsed and I got a BEQ temp room for the night, to return the next morning and let the yelling begin.
I have been faithfully observant of TLAPD since before I joined the Navy, to include signing up for duty on the day some years so that I would have control over the squadron radio, but I missed it that one weekend when I started OCS.
Between April Fools' Day and TLAPD, it's a tossup which one is my favorite.
