29JUNE2026 IWC Board

As someone with a little more life experience and a background in the corporate world coming into the Navy as an E3, I was initially frustrated every day by the Navy’s inefficiencies. As a junior enlisted Sailor, rather than letting these daily occurrences wear me down, I started journaling everything. I told myself that instead of getting angry, I would use this as motivation to commission and eventually be in a position to drive change. OCS boards taking this long is definitely making it onto the list.
 
Journaling is awesome! I've been doing it myself on and off for years, but this year picked it back up and it's been a huge help, especially for how hard this wait is. I know it's hard for all of us and even though some of those reasons are probably the same or similar, I'm sure we each have our own as well.

I spent the day counting all the reasons I don’t want to be enlisted anymore 🤣😂
 
Gotcha, the one in January was only from 29th January to 4th of March though! I feel like this is insane how slow it is right now unless they select every body that applied.
