What was wrong about what he posted? I've never flown a helo or a P-3, but it seems perfectly reasonable that a helo would be more fun to fly, while P-3's will set him up for the airlines better once the kool aide starts to taste bad.
It's the incessant pity party he throws with nearly every post. We get it, the Navy sux, he wants out, etc, etc.

Jesus jumping Christ - just go already. Have you explored the possibility of requesting an early release from your MSR? I presume your CO is as eager to get rid of you as you are to leave.
The question, in my mind, is who's more ready to be done with whom...My CO with me, or your ready room with you.

Triple stamping my record with EPs before the board sure was a funny way of saying they were ready to be rid of me.

In short, go fuck yourself.

Yea, nah. You'll just have to take me at my word on that one. #3 behind a super JO and a SMTI first tour, #4, #2, #1 on the last tour. I work my fucking ass off. I've never had a problem with working hard. I also fly my ass off. The last command appreciated it.

Not sure why you decided to come off the top rope, but as I've told JW on more than one occasion: "The interwebz...it's a serious business!"

Personal attack, meet personal attack.

To un-derail this thread, this is a pretty classic bone job for this guy, going to a dead end community that doesn't have a replacement on the horizon instead of getting to play with the new shiny toy. The only upside is that so many dudes are bailing from the Q and VP, Q guys are ending up as VP DHs. If he sticks around 11-13 years, he might get to fly the P8.

He was loathe to fly helos. After 1500 hours in the VPenis flying circles at 25,000 feet being bored to tears for most of them, I'm pointing out that he probably doesn't have any frame of reference to know what he's missing.

Hating on helos is easy; that being said, flying around bored as fuck at 25000 playing 2P power source fuck fuck games is not as much fun as it might look on first glance.

I thought so.

At any rate, you obviously made a huge error in accepting a position in VP in the first place. I'm sure your several talents will, instead, be best utilized by flying in straight lines at 25,000 feet, playing First Officer.

Please don't post yours. I think I'd throw up when I read

"Brett 327 has willingly progressed from brown nosing to ass licking to Big Navy Cum guzzling. Ready for an unlubricated butt fucking. Penetrate Immediately!"
HAL, the more you hate, the more I laugh.

And just when you were beginning to show some promise around here. Old habits die hard.

But you never change. You're always an idiot.

I don't hate you, I pity you. You're just too stupid to understand the difference.

25000 seems a little low for playing first officer. 360-410 seems more like it. I never did take you for one with much aeronautical knowledge, though.

Everyone knows once you get out it's not how much you fly, it's how little you fly.

The hardest part will be figuring out what to do with my time off. A solid portion of it will be spent laughing at the rat race, some will be spent poking the bear, and most will probably be spent drinking beer and going places for shits and grins.

Yea, it sounds fucking terrible. Not many airline dudes banging down the door to get back in right now. I'll take my chances, please and thank you.
