Holy cow. Buddies flying the 787 love it. Think biggest tailwind I have see is about 140 kts. On another note. Few days ago saw barometric pressure of 30.77 in DFW.

I’m holding out hope for the 350. There’s a “chance” right? Right? Lol.

Same as @wink I have heard good things from those flying the 78. I’ve heard anecdotal comments that the 350 is a better customer experience in the back. But that really depends upon the cabin configuration options. Regardless let’s see more new metal on property!

Just saw this: Air Norwegian just went from New York to London in 5 hours, 13 minutes courtesy of a 202 mph tailwind. Airplane was the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Curious to know what our resident airline folks think of the Dreamliner - and what is the biggest tailwind they have seen.

We had a 200 knot tailwind when we boomed Tampa. Saw a 1000 knots ground speed.

I recently flew on the 787 for the first time. It's a pretty nice experience in the back even though I did not score a business class seat. DFW-SCL. The large, dimmable windows are impressive. It was interesting watching the Sun rise through the heavily dimmed window. It was so dark it didn't quite seem real. The sunrise LED color scheme was a nice touch. It may have just been wishful thinking, but I felt a difference in the cabin atmosphere than an older airliner. Overall, I think it is a great product.

I have to imagine that hours at 6k vs 8k cabin altitude makes a difference.

Peacocks are fucking mean. My grandparents had some. How did all this bullshit start in the first place? Some marketing stunt with quasi-medical support to satisfy the FAA/TSA?
