Okay, so I thought I received some good news but after further consideration, I am questioning that.
I want to be an air contract and I’ve made that clear. I have passed my ASTB and just recently completed my flight physical. The problem is my flight physical could take some time to process, but it should be back in time for the November board.
My recruiter suggested that I go ahead and sign a ground contract and make a program change when all my flight physical information comes through. If I don’t sign the ground contract, there is a chance I will not make the January OCC class. I will join regardless but I want to fly!!!! Is switching contracts really that easy? He makes it seem like it’s a simple and easy process.
I’m a little concerned that it’s somewhat difficult to make that transition. Does my recruiter have a quota he is trying to reach or he is really looking out for my best interest.
He wants me to sign soon and I would appreciate any insight and thoughts any of you may have..
