Supply Boards and scores

Did you not make it to the board on the 27th?

Didn't know there was a board on the 27th. I was told the 6 Nov was the next one. If there was a board, I probably didn't know about it because packages are due a month prior to the board and I didn't have everything together by then.

Hello all. My OR turned in my package to the Supply board today for the November 17 board. Who else up here has applied for that board. Also, how does the board work? Is it a package review or is it a face-to-face? No one can give me a clear answer.

I did. The board is 6 Nov and the results should come out around Thanksgiving. I’m an AF guy too; TSgt trying to convert over. It’s all based off the package and not face-to-face. Read the thread here and it’s loaded with great info.

Awesome! Thanks for the answer. Time to try something new besides the air force.

@AFSSgt10 , my application is in too. My OAR isn't the best; however, I believe I had a strong package put together too. Hopefully I can carry on the family tradition. I'm nervous on not getting picked up since I'm approaching a PCS window if I'm not accepted.

Hey guys, was looking through this thread and just wanted to get some feedback. I am currently a SSgt in the Air Force, and my job is contracting. I have gone to training with many supply officers, so i understand that we pretty much do the same job, just different branches. I have been in for 7 years, with an undergrad in CJ, GPA of 3.6, and working on my MBA with a GPA of 3.7. i have letters of recommendation from a navy vice admiral (0-8), an Air force General (0-7), Senator of Alaska, and a retired senior enlisted member. Previously played professional basketball in Germany before i joined the service, so able to show some more well-roundness, and leadership ability. I am taking the OAR this Monday, so a little nervous about that. Took the AFOQT, which is essentially the same test for the Air Force and made over the minimum scores, but still want to do good. I understand the boards look at the whole person concept, but is there a minimum for OAR score for supply? i thought i seen somewhere it said that the minimum for supply was 45, but i have seen other individuals get picked up with a score lower than that. Just curious what you guys thought. Please let me know. Thanks

The new program authorization limits prior service to a max of 6 years.
