Was informed by my OR last Thursday about this date. Did not see a thread created so I decided to make one. Really would have desired a closer date, but beggars can't be choosers! Patiently waiting for the fall : ). Ironically, this falls directly on my birthday (almost) so what a birthday gift!

My recruiter initially told me I would leave for OCS April 27, but the powers that may be had my FS letter for SWO and I wanted NFO. He told me he would make some calls and switch me back to NFO. Once I was switched back, he gave me the date of September 21. I don't know how often something like that happens, and I still don't have my FS letter for NFO. My recruiter says the program states I am still listed for a sept 21 leave date, should I trust that I'm leaving then even without a FS letter?

Just received my FS letter on Thur. Sept 21 too. See you there! I was hoping for this summer too, but now we can enjoy summer a little too haha.

When's your birthday? Mine is Oct 17. Something tells me this year's won't be quite as fun as past ones....

No FS yet, but the OR told me this is my unofficial class date. Like others have stated, I would have liked an earlier date but it is what it is.

My birthday is October 15th. I have a feeling it's gonna be a blast
