They'll be billed for fuel. Otherwise, what pricetag do you place on the value of interoperability and (insert list of management-speak buzz words)?
I don't know..........rust proofing, delivery charge. What current scenario do you see us needing French jets on our decks. We're doing them a favor, and they aren't very good at reciprocating.

It's not about sharing ships. Training with our allies is usually a good thing, and from my experience, the French are among the most professional of our allied militaries. When you say they aren't good at reciprocating, do you have something specific in mind? Perhaps an example from the IC?

Hey, I saw “Behind Enemy Lines,” and French admirals are total dicks.

I would imagine that scaling such a system for a ship with 5000+ personnel would be a challenge.
And how many people are stationed at al-Udied?
From an operational standpoint, when a Strike Group is on the line, many squadrons are already aircrew limited between flights, standing alerts, duty, etc. Even as a deployed CO, I rarely knew 12 hours beforehand what I would be doing the next day, and that would often change mid-course. I can't imagine a whole lot of opportunity to imbibe.
Come on. There are no-fly days even on the line. Gotta UNREP sometime. You don’t need “a whole lot of opportunity” to offer the chance to have maybe two beers every couple of weeks. This would also cut down on the massive logistics tail you claim it’d need if people can’t justifiably have beer every day. We manage to keep Seaman Snuffy stocked with Monsters and Rockstars just fine, and if those were beers, he’d be dead.

Agree to disagree. I'm not convinced of the utility of going through all these gymnastics so we can incur all kinds of additional risk. There are other ways to enhance morale.

Yes, it's exactly the same.
Are there other morale boosters in the works? Or are they going to incur risk?

Will two beers at dinner doom the boat if the reactor melts down? No.

Will mandatory trafficking in persons training actually impact trafficking in persons? No.

The risk is incurred only by the mid level leadership. The risk is not being able to CYA.
