I think it's an error with permissions. I need to sit down on my computer to diagnose it. Probably something I dorked up.

Still looking for the cushy one myself. Its tough to get any of the Army guard jobs without having been in the Army at some point. With 1500 Seahawk hours, two instructor tours and FCP qualification I wasn't eligible back when I got my job. After 50 hours in a Blackhawk and the Army MTP course I was best qualified. We do have a GS-13/O-4 position posted for Logistics Management Officer, but you need the Army MTP course under your belt. Unfortunately you've got to get the stamp and hope for good timing.

Now I do know a few guys over at CBP/Homeland Security if you are looking in that direction.

Oh, BTW... we are still doing 1 year deployments in the Army guard. Sure you want to do that?

I don't know if you still can, but you used to be able to challenge the MTP course. They were talking about that going away so it may be gone by now. USAF H-60 civilian gigs also require it.

Yeah, probably not.

I have lots of interest in CBP, but I don't think that's going to be doable immediately after retirement, if at all. It will depend my disability rating (if any) it seems. I may hit you up for contacts though. I have a name over at NIP but haven't touched base yet. I have a feeling HEMS may be in my future...though I need to get some more info from the guys down at FL60.

I never knew about the PNA section, but I definitely would love to have access to it. Requesting PNA!
