Prior E to O DD214 RE Code Question

I was Honorably discharged from the USAF back in Nov 2017 with an RE Code of 4D on my DD214. The AF stated that I was able to commission upon graduation, currently grinding our my bachelors degree, but I'd prefer to commission into the Corps.

Is a 4D RE Code allowable / accepted? If not, will I need a waiver or is commissioning into the Corps off the table?

Let us know what your OSO says.

It depends on what 4D means and how that translates to what a re1a is. The airforce is ridiculous with their re codes, seems like they have a different code for each day of the week. So, yes no or maybe. What does your oso say?
