There's always the predeployment physical to pass depending on location. I know some people who were older reservists who've had issues getting cleared to deploy and their MOBs getting turned off as a result.

No no. I have a new born and busy with this ADSW / Mob'n......gives me plenty of time to do computer / phone research. But only can go so far.....

At this point you should work with your CoC and NAVRESFOR to find out if there is any way to mitigate your situation, I think you have reached the capacity of this board to help you.

Just trying to find out options!
Hair Warrior is much more polite than me - and since I already quickly established a reputation on these board of being an asshole, I'll state the obvious.

If your knee jerk reaction to mob orders is to start figuring out how you can get out of said mob orders, you are in the wrong business. My wife was 5 months pregnant the first time I got mobilized for OIF - and my son was 15 months old by the time I finally got home. There are literally thousands of similar stories and many friends are on their 8th and 9th deployments that make my situation and yours look easy. Don't try to figure out how to get out of your orders. Fulfill your duty and do the job you swore an oath to do.

To give the OP a little credit he is already on a set of active duty orders, ones that have historically exempted folks from MOB'ing while on them. It is an unusual situation so I understand why he is trying to find out what he can.

If your current command who has you on ADSW doesn't know, you might want to let them know - I personally would be pissed if CNRFC dropped a mob on someone who worked for me without the common courtesy of a phone call.

Philosophically, this is similar to what happened to me 10 years ago. Fat, dumb, and happy on Active Duty shore duty when IA orders showed up. My command worked with the powers-that-be to turn it off and also stated that a little heads up would've been great. Everyone (myself included) chalked it up to bumps in the road as a new process was invented, but ultimately pleased that the command and Millington could work it out amicably. It's disheartening that comms haven't improved in 10 years.
