Did I miss something? What's with all your Brett jokes?
I foresee a good character building staff tour followed by an OOD qual in the OPs future. Someone give his JOPA a heads up that they have a Pre-Hinge in their midst.
Brett is a jerk here so being in Brett's squadron must be painful so why not send all the winners that are here over there so they can make Brett's life painful, or something along those lines.

lol I promise to be a JOPA bro! Just kinda career-paranoid reading about the ugly O-4 boards...But serious question: Do 1st fleet tour MP's ever make O-4 or is a 'MP' fitrep basically a killing blow regardless of "shore tour" performance, education/grad school, platform type, etc? Any anecdotal evidence in the house?
(RIGHT NOW) a first tour MP is pretty much guaranteed to be 2X FOS for LCDR. When you screen? Who knows.
About 6 months ago when CNAF went to Corpus to talk to IPs down there, he pretty much said unless you are an EP/EP start making other plans. There was no sugar coating. Just do your best and everything will work out.
