Got on the Facebook page. In terms of preparing, I've just been PT 5 days a week (majority of weeks). About to hit all the memorization items everyone enjoys.

Judging from ocs class dates we have here on forum , we should be the 7th class which graduated in 2016(FY). if september 6th is 3-16, we should be class 7-16.

Just curious. What actually happens now that we've gotten the FINSEL letter with class date? Have you guys already signed the contract and sworn in?

I got my finsel Tues and swore in/signed contract Wed. My OR gave me a heads up of what to expect and said stay out of trouble, don't get hurt, start memorizing and focus on PT.

Yes you guys will be 07-16. Depending on the size of your guys class you will either be one company or two so you will be echo/foxtrot companies. I just graduated from ocs this last OCT 16. Hooyah 01-16 alpha company! You guys will see our class t-shirt up on the wall. If you guys have any questions for me feel free to ask away. I can't say I will give specifics of everything because some of the joy of ocs is in not knowing and I wouldn't want to take away from your experience. Also ocs is constantly changing. Even while I was there chow hall procedures changed. So what we did some of the junior classes didn't even know about. So while I can give you a good idea about most things your experience will vary a lot from mine but I will give you any advice I can. I remember combing through this site before I went and there was some good advice and some not so good. But good luck to all of you
