Friend of mine recommended "The Ranch". Did not get good reviews but so far, so good. Stars Ashton Kucher, Sam Elliot (he does not age) and, for those of us who remember "24" and "The Girl Next Door", Elisha Cuthbert.

I've got into "Tyrant" (FX, on Hulu). Sort of a Middle Eastern 'House of Cards,' set in a very-thinly-fictionalized version of Bahrain.

"Stranger Things" is pretty awesome. Just dropped a few weeks ago. Only 8 episodes, so not that much of a time commitment.

Just finished that one and "Penny Dreadful". Penny Dreadful is one of the best Horror/Dark TV shows I've seen in a while.

A Very Secret Service. A French comedy in sub titles. About a red tape laden spy agency at the height of the Cold War in the 1960s. The Colonel, a resistance hero, may have been a Nazi sympathizer . The French are losing African colonies, Algeria is a hot bed of terrorists, the new guy is idealistic, green, and more competent then all his colleagues. Quirky, funny. Sometimes can't tell if they are making fun of the stereotypical French attitude or that really is he way they are. Recruiting interview of the new guy: Who invented democracy? The French. Who brought civilization and tranquility to the dark continent? The French. Who saved the world from Nazi domination? The French! In one episode CIA operatives explain how they have the goods on JFK because "he likes the women". Very funny.
