The trailer gives me Clue vibes. Is that how it felt? It looks so very good I can't wait to see it.
"The game's up, Scarlet. There are no more bullets left in that gun."
"Oh, come on, you don't think I'm gonna fall for that old trick."
"It's not a trick. There was one shot at Mr. Boddy in the study, two for the chandelier, two at the lounge door and one for the singing telegram."
"That's not six."
"One plus two plus two plus one."
"Huh-uh, there was only one shot that got the chandelier. That's one plus two plus one plus one."
"Even if you were right, that would be one plus one plus two plus one, not one plus two plus one plus one."
"Okay, fine. One plus two plus one . . . SHUT UP!"

Haven't seen Clue so I don't know. I thought the movie was quite good - and my wife who is a huge Agatha Christie fan loved it. There are also 13 seasons of Agatha Christie's Poirot that is on Amazon Prime, itunes and PBS.

I actually rode the Orient Express back in the day: Paris to Vienna. Took a photo underneath the sign as a remembrance (it was not as glamorous in the '90s as it was back in its heyday, but still, it was the Orient Express.) If you get a chance, the trains in Europe are wonderful, in particular anything through Switzerland or Austria.

Just finished binge watching Jericho. It has been quite a few years since it came out. Too bad it was only 29 episodes - but thought it was a really good series that had a lot of potential to go longer. The EMP attack reminded me of the book One Second After by William Forstchen (very good novel).

Trailer for 7 Days in Entebbe just dropped. Looks pretty cool. I'm made a little skeptical by the "inspired by real events" tagline, which is usually movie talk for "mostly bullshit but something kinda like this really happened". The real story is incredible enough.

There hasn't been a movie about Operation Thunderbolt since Raid on Entebbe. Which, for a made-for-TV rush job, is pretty good. A distinguished cast including Charles Bronson, Yaphet Kotto, Peter Finch, Robert Loggia, and James Woods, and directed by Irvin "Empire Strikes Back" Kershner.

Who's playing BiBi's role? I think I read he was part of that operation.

If you thought Battlestar Galactica was one of the best TV shows so far this century, then you might be in luck. It appears the producer (Ronald D. Moore) is developing another series for Apple. No word yet on timing.

Apple TV has ordered a scripted drama series from Ronald D. Moore. The untitled project explores what would have happened if the global space race had never ended — which admittedly is a pretty vague description, but that’s all we’ve got for now.

Requiem for the American Dream. Noam Chomsky is not exactly aligned with my beliefs, but I always like listening to the other side with a "convince me" attitude.
