The nine week in-residence course that you will have to attend is called the NAMP Indoc course. Its basically going over the ENTIRE NAMP (4790) and 10 days in a mock maintenance lab. It's held at NAS Whiting Field in BEAUTIFUL Milton, FL. Its about 20 minutes north of P-Cola, situated in the middle of cow fields and nothingness!!! We had a mixture of Navy, Marines and Foreign Military. It was a really good course and it will help you network and understand a little more about the job.

Bam, do you know if AEDOs attend AMO or is it just for AMDOs? I haven't heard anything about needing to attend.

Sadly missing the May 2016 AEDO Board due to current submission of some medical documents for the MEPS pre-screen. Once submitted, they'll go to a MEPS doc for a courtesy review to determine if I'm even eligible for a MEPS exam. Crossing my fingers in getting over the medical bump in the road...I would love to get back to the Pensacola area even for a short TAD.

Bummer man, sorry to hear that. Keep at it though, I know how difficult it can be to get through MEPS. Good luck and keep us posted.

First post here, I've been trying to get an application on the AEDO board for 2 yrs and 3 recruiters. I finally made it but I'm pending results, not sure when the board closes since it was pushed back.

homestead, I didn't know the board was pushed back. It was originally scheduled to meet this week. I submitted an AMDO package for the this board. Hopefully the results aren't pushed back too long. I have to start soliciting interviewers for my next package by mid July and I don't want to waist anyone's time.

Believe it or not, my OR of 5 months has checked out, I am now on my 4th recruiter. I have no idea what's going on anymore, has the board met or finished?

I have no idea either. Does anyone know if the board has met? If not, is it cancelled? Also, if an applicant is enlisted, will the results be posted on BOL? I'll ask my recruiter as well and share what, if anything, I find out.
