Good Luck to both of you!!
Thanks! And thank you for the help in molding my motivational statement, congrats again on getting selected last year! Package is in and board is April 27th, last I heard, so still a couple months out from results, time to hunker down and wait.

Rog... Thanks!
Obviusly, first time applying. Any additional info on the process from this point on, is very welcomed.
I would think your OR would have gave you a run down on what happens next. The board is end of April, then those selected will be notified when results come out, by recruiter. If I recall, results were out about a month after the board last year.

Making Recruiting Great Again

Not to put you on the spot, but at any point during the process or even when you signed off your application ask your recruiter “what to expect next?”

You never answered my previous question.
What was the question? Your previous comment sound more like an advise. If the question was "did" I ever asked what to expect next, the answer is, yes. At all times. I simply, wanted to see if there was actually another way.

As a current 1525, I wish you all luck in the upcoming board. I remember all of the thoughts going through my head as my board approached.
My 2 cents : 1.) Remember, you are applying for one of the hardest communities to get into. If you don't get selected, its not because you suck at life. the packages that are being submitted are beyond beefed up with very few selects. I've talked with some 1525s that applied 4 times before getting selected. For those of you on your second and third go around, Bravo Zulu for sticking with it.
2.) Do not beat your recruiters up! they are doing everything that they can to make sure you are successful (most of them anyway).

Again, good luck and I'll be standing by waiting for results with you all.

Thanks AD1!
This is my first time, and that is exactly the same advice I have gotten. How many times did it take you?

It took me two times. The first time I applied not knowing what to expect. The second time I went with my guns loaded. That and timing I believe were the factors. They selected 4 AMDOs when I was selected.

I really hope some of the budget increase trickled down into the NRP and that this could be a good time to apply.
I guess we will find out soon. Any thoughts on this?
