Easton or Coleman Glacier route?
I did Easton Glacier Route - up to Roman Wall .... although and we hiked Easton glacier to find a crevasse to practice crevasse rescue on. That was cool - cold.

We spent a couple of days at Sandy Camp (the hike up Railroad Grade Trail was a challenge). Then a couple of days at Ice Dome between Easton and Deming glaciers.

The boot pack on the Easton Route was very well defined - plenty of people on the mountain. GPS coordinates are easy to get for safe passage.

I now want to do it with one of my sons. Fun times.

That railroad grade has eroded a lot over the past 10 years. The trail up the actual grade didn't used to be so exposed. I think they're going to have to relocate the trail soon because some of it is close to falling down the moraine.
