how competetive is an air contract would you say? Will a great PFT & test scores assure that I make the grade or am I at the mercy of some alien board who will never see my face?
Treetop Flyer is right, they will see your face from your photo, but that's all they'll ever see. Make sure you get some solid PIQ's so they have an idea of what other people think of you, preferably military/ex-military and more preferably- Marines. I had a bunch of my dad's career buddies write them up for me and an active duty Major. My OSO told me that would look very good to have Marines vouching for me.
