March 2013 CEC Board

I'm sorry for the double post, but I just learned about the Recruiting Command Texas Navy website and was checking it out when I saw that they posted on March 25th they had 2 applicants picked up from the CEC Board. I have not been able to get a hold of my recruiter, but does this mean the CEC Board for March has met and convened already? Should my recruiter know by now if I got accepted or not?

Congrats Price! I REALLY need to get a hold of my recruiter now. No one is picking up at the recruiting office though, UGH. I'm worried though that no news = bad news

I hope you hear back quickly CEC_Hopeful. Seeing these posts is making me quite anxious for the CEC DCO board to meet! Almost makes me think I should contact my recruiter to see if the DCOs might have been done concurrently...

Wow, thank you NavyOffRec, I didn't know they were different boards and now I feel pretty foolish. Would you happen to know when the AD board is meeting? I thought I read somewhere they were intended to meet on March 11th. In any case, I hope my OR isn't annoyed from all my messages, but I guess that's what they get for not responding to my emails and calls for a couple weeks...

Since Price13 has found out that means the AD board has met and the results are out.

I see, thanks for the clarification NavyOffRec. I'll keep trying to reach my OR, but it's a bit worrisome she's being so unresponsive. Would there happen to be another way I could find out about my application result?

I am happy to say I got my final selection letter and am very excited to swear in within the next week or two!

Hey Price, congratulations again! If you don't mind me asking, when is your class date? I found out that my package actually didn't make it to the last board, but my recruiter told me it is definitely going to get looked at for this coming board on May 6th, so I have my fingers crossed!

I swore in this past Thursday

I won't graduate from college until 2015, so I don't know my class date yet.

I talked with my recruiter and it sounds like the board did meet this past Monday. I'm hoping I hear some good news in the next couple weeks! Was there anyone else up for this last board? (I would have started a different thread to ask, but it does not seem like there are a lot of CEC applicants checking out this thread, haha).

Also, Price, I did not realize you could get in with that much schooling left! That's a pretty sweet deal, and I wish you the best of luck for your next two years of college!
