Semper Jump Jet

Ninja smoke...POOF.

You're waiting to class up for Primary, right? Here's a fun thing you can do, when you start flying military aircraft: Talk shit on the first Herky Bird/Warpig IP's ride, so he'll know that you're 100% legit and that he better not give you any bullshit. Extra points if you lay it down in the brief/pre-flight. You'll pretty much definitely get jets that way.

Let me know how that works out.

Smiles in full effect, somewhere around here.

You're just mad 'cause he's right.

I keep saying she's curvy. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

BTW, Semper, You seen your jet lately? Pretty it isn't.

After looking at your pic Semper, I'd have to say the Harrier is the only plane to break down AND smoke than the P-3. Congrats, that's a big feat.

Granted...but have you seen the property values in north Santa Rosa County? The same thing applies. Likewise, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know a fat, ugly woman when he sees one.

As a property owner of Milton, FL...I don't think property values has anything to do with traffic helos flying at 900' over it. I think it has more to do with the lack of population, lack of viable industry and very little potential for immediate growth.

The reason I over paid for my home is basically because of the school system, but, even that can change in the span of 10 years.

I'm sellin' the house when I get the chance.

It wasn't me, but I was there the other night on a goggle hop. When were you there? I think I was the only fleet aircraft flying on Sept 30th that night. Okay, maybe someone was in Starboard D w/ the clown jets off the coast, but otherwise...
We were flying Sept 30th... In support of a movie filming at Barksdale AFB. We only flew 3 of 4, and when they were spinning up (I didn't have a copilot) I got grabbed to be in a scene and was told to "act concerned". I'm sure it will make the trailer!

I was in Gainesville from 1-4 Oct, supporting UF NROTC.

Pictures?
Damn, I forgot.

If it was this weekend, there were a bunch of 57s there.
3 specifically. They only tagged us on the side of the A/C behind the crew door. Each of the three got one on the cowling just below the rotor head, one in the luggage compartment, and one on the overhead console above the IPs head in return.

Would you want that ugly thing flying over your house? It brings property values down everywhere within a 5 nm radius. That must be a note in the NATOPs somewhere.

Got any pics phrog? What did you do to the -57?

Meh. Gotta keep it interesting. This place is loaded down with P-3 guys so I wouldn't say this stuff if I really meant anything by it.

Hey, she may be old, fat, smell funny, and smoke at innapropriate tmes; but that's no reason to kick her outta the neighborhood.

Have you been to Gainesville lately? We class up the joint!

Oh...and one more thing...when you figure out what the rudder does, come back and talk shit about Multi-engine aircraft...until then, STFU junior...

On a side note, some ass hat local got the P3s banned from flying at G'ville due to noise. We haven't flown there in months.

"I weep for........ Damn I'm almost quoting A4's and I'm no where near that old.

This just shows how touchy-feely the Navy is getting. Twenty years ago somebody making that complaint would have had the opportunity to see every P-3 Jax had, multiple times, probably some from Bangor and maybe even the West Coast. Now some a$$h*le whines and that's it. If this keeps up, where are you going to be able to fly?:icon_rage

No kidding? Good deal. Was it for a Pass in Review or something?
We flew the Marine Option guys from an LZ at Santa Fe College, up to some working area NW of Cecil Field. Next day we moved them between two LZs with some f-in' off time in between.

Stubbies is a pretty sweet place for someone like me who loves beer...
