Holiday stand down

My husband is currently at OCS and is prior enlisted with plenty of leave time on the books. Does anyone know what the Holiday stand down will looks like?

I was there the Christmas before last and there was a two week stand down. Half the students took the first week and the other half took the second week off. If you didn’t want to take leave, everyday was treated like a weekend where your liberty was determined by what phase of the program you were in and if you were on watch or not. The holiday stand down instruction is usually issued well before Thanksgiving, so the staff probably already know or will soon know. Your husband just needs to ask them directly because the other students will be the last to know.
