What I mean by negatives is when you do a pullup, there is the positive part (the part were you pull yourself up)and the negative part(were you go back down). But what you'll do is go down slow on the negative part. Think of it as putting the brakes on. Try a 5 count. 1 miss, 2miss, etc... This will trigger new growth and strength. I believe after I did a routine of negatives, my pullups increased to 3 more in about 21/2 weeks. Not bad.
