Got Sig?

Anyone have thoughts on the sig mosquito? I'm looking for a .22 and debating between a walther P22 and a Mosquito; I'm not really interested in a Ruger, even though they've generally got better reviews than both of the above; I don't care for the look and want something that will feel/look similiar to bigger guns I intend to move the devilwoman up to.

I love the mosquito...It's well built and fun to shoot..(and a heck of a lot cheaper to shoot than my 9mm or .45)

Got a new pistol this weekend: P238 (380 ACP) for carry. Usually I carry a Bersa Thunder 380 but it's a little big to carry in shorts and a T-shirt. This thing is quite a bit smaller than the Bersa and fits nicely in a front pocket of shorts or jeans.

It's two tone with Blackwood grips and features SIGLITE night sights

Length: 5.5"
Height: 3.96"
Width: 1.1"
Weight (with mag): 15.2 oz
Mag capacity: 6 rounds

For size comparison I added a FM Hi-Power (top left), Bersa Thunder (middle), Sig P238 (bottom) and Taurus Tracker (Right):

Went up to the Dixie Gun and Knife Show in Raleigh last weekend in search of a 229 SAS. Mission accomplished, and for a relatively decent price. No range time with it yet, thanks to a blazing hangover on Sunday, followed by several consecutive days standing daughter watch. In a completely unscientific comparison with my 220, though, the brand new SAS trigger feels very, very nice. Hopefully I'll have a chance to actually shoot it in the next couple days. (I'm having flashbacks to my M1A purchase v. 2d MEB operational planning last year...)

The wife was pissed when she came home and saw it sitting out, and even more pissed when I told her that it was her Mother's Day present and she had fucked up the surprise. If I hadn't twisted at the last second, she would have gotten a lung this time when she stabbed me. I must be getting old...

That must be one of the older ones. The new "Navy" versions and the issue models have a rail.

This is mine:

I bought a SIG P232SL for <$450 off gunbroker almost a year ago and it's been my main carry piece since. It was disgustingly fouled inside when I got it... looked like it had never been cleaned. Come to find out it usually ends up pretty dirty after a trip to the range, a product of the blowback action, apparently. With the Hogue grips, it feels incredible in the hand and I'm better with it than my P30 and 1911. Maybe the fixed barrel has something to do with it, but it is incredibly easy to shoot well, and quickly, too. No malfunctions yet. The only drawbacks are that its chambered in a relatively weak round, its heavy for its size, being all stainless, and its impossible to find night sights for unless they came with the pistol. It's a great little pistol though, and I'm pretty pleased with it.

You can get damn near anything on that backplate. My wife has a Hello Kitty on her G17. Hey, if it gets her ass shooting, I'm not complaining. I snagged a KalishniKitty shirt for her a couple months ago, too.

Ok guys...I have to admit that I didn't read all 6 pages of this thread...so if it's on page 3, sorry...

Anyone have any experience with Sig's take on the 1911? They look and feel MEAN! Wanted to ask about as the chances of a range day with one is slim, they are asking Kimber-esque prices for them and they are now on the short list for my new carry firearm.
