Looks like she has a pair of "bigguns" and a compound bow. :icon_wink I'd be proud to do some hunting with her.

So it would appear ... PLUS, she doesn't know how to properly shoulder the weapon and has a piss-poor firing stance. Why isn't the 'observer' correcting her??

Good thing it's not a .30/.308 caliber or a 12-gauge or it might knock her on her ass ...

Her firing stance is absolutely terrible. The correct firing stance being taught now is just like a claymore. "Front Toward Enemy" The rifle is supposed to be 90 degrees from the chest. Some people with short arms do have issues with this. Usually moving the forward hand to the magazine well alleviates this problem.

Isn't she/\ wearing a British helmet and flak jacket?

It looks like the British pattern desert camouflage to me. She just looks ate up all the way around. Is that a towel hanging out of her pocket?

Rachelle Leah's form is flawless. Her firing stance for each weapon is not so flawless, but it's fine. Check out the illuminator on her rail (PEQ-2 - not pecs). So who's inviting her to the next 3 gun competition?

OK - Thread now back on track. Carry on.

Don't think I'd kick her off the range for not picking up her brass...

Gold medal spouse

Jamie Gray, wife of U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit shooter SSG Hank Gray, bites her Olympic gold medal after winning the women's 50-meter rifle 3-positions event Aug. 4 at the Royal Artillery Barracks range in London. Bronze medalist Daria Vdovina of Russia stands beside Gray, who established Olympic records in both qualification (592) and final (691.9) of the event, which includes shooting from prone, standing and kneeling positions. Elizabeth Hughes, the wife of Capt. Daniel Hughes, who is currently deployed with a company within 1st Tank Battalion, holds an M240-G medium machine during the battalion's "Jane Wayne Day" at Combat Center Range 500 March 30. The ladies had a little trouble handling the bulky, 22-pound weapon, but enjoyed the experience. Byline Cpl. R. Logan Kyle
