FY15 IDC DCO Boards

I was a Non-Select for the March `15 board and have been looking forward to submitting an updated kit for the January `16 board. Recently, I was told by my OR that my application has not had enough significant change to merit a resubmission. However, I have accepted a position with the federal government in a job that requires a full-scope clearance AND I've been accepted into a Ph.D. program at the local university. I'm being told that I need to be in the position for a year in order to qualify for a resubmit OR obtain the degree (not just get accepted into the program).

I know that the instructions say that the application must have a 'significant' change -- and that is subjective, but I'd like to ask the other ORs if this is consistent with their past experience.

Per my understanding, you would need to be in your new position for a certain time frame that would allow your colleagues and superiors to your work performance and ethics. In regards to your education, you would have had to at least completed one semester and able to show some GPA number within submitted transcripts. I had to go through a similar situation when I began the DCO process but @NavyOffRec could provide more insight than I could.
Best of luck.

I got some new info:
The IDC Board has begun capping the number of packages it reviews at each Board. Many IDC DIRCOM packages submitted prior to the 25 Feb 15 deadline were 100% complete (not "kicked out" for any deficiency) but since they arrived after the Mar 15 cap limit was reached, those packages will be automatically rolled to the Sep 15 IDC Board.

Also, looks like the Mar 15 selection totals by designator are:
1805: 1
1815: 4
1825: 3
1835: 42

Someone correct me if I'm wrong anywhere.
You wouldn't happen to know the total number of applicants for that board, would you? I'm running stats to share with the group. I just found a flaw in my formula, so now's a good time for me to re-do the entire thing and get it right.

I didn't count the names, but I saw the whole document when it was released. There were approx. 200 applicants. Many folks applied for multiple designators.

Anyone who didn't make it on the FY15 board(s) make it on the FY16 board? I'm fortunate to have not made it for FY15 but got selected for FY16.

I didn't make any FY15 board, mostly because they decided after the March '15 board to roll the September '15 board to January '16. I did get the FY16 selection.

1835 quotas are way better than 1830 quotas. I applied for the September board and was non selected. Was a non select for Warrant Officer. Now im contemplating another package for 1830.

dude... that chart is confusing... For example... of the 306 applicants for the FY16 board... how many were applying to intel and other designators respectively?
I saw the official select/non-select chart from FY15. The stats aren't computed for you, so it would be a hand-jam and not worth the time.

IIRC, about 40% of the applicants applied for all three 1835/1815/1825 in various order, about 40% applied for 1835 only, and the rest applied for both 1815/1825 in either order. Under 1% (really) put 1805.
