FY15 IDC DCO Boards

Not to add to the confusion, but looking for confirmation. My recruiter stated that he had heard anyone who did their interview prior to May (like me) would still "sit" for the September board, but all others would be deferred to January. He is still waiting on confirmation, but I figured I'd throw it out there in case this applies to anyone else, or anyone can say with certainty he's correct or mistaken...

This is the latest and greatest I have seen regarding the IDC DCO boards:

There will be a single DCO board per year starting with FY 16 DCO, to select all quotas for the FY. The first board of the new process will be held 18-21 Jan 2016. Recording week for that board will be 11-15 Jan 2016. The due date for kits is 18 Dec. All previous DCO application requirements remain unchanged with one addition: applicants must have at least one interview appraisal by an officer of their primary commissioning preference.

DCO = reserves, reserve qualifications and active qualifications are not the same

@LizLiz91, if you're trying for a reserve slot, know that anyone whose packet was received before a certain date (May-ish?) got 'under the wire' for the final SEP IDC DCO board. All others are basically on hold until the JAN2016 board.

During my skill community interviews last month, it was (twice) confirmed to me that the IDC DCO Board (Reserves) will, for the foreseeable future, meet once annually in JAN to make selections for the entire fiscal year. Others on this thread are getting the same:

I know I'm opening myself up to a plethora of responses, but here it goes anyway. To reiterate, there is NO September Reserve IDC board. The next reserve IDC board is in January 2016. The IDC board that is scheduled for September is for active selection, not reserves.

Why is it that accession board schedules are kept from public view, while most all other selection boards are available for public view on NPC website and available via message traffic?

They are, they are on the NRC website and have been for years. They wouldn't be on the NPC website as NPC doesn't deal with accession boards, NRC deals with accession boards.

On NRC in COMNAVCRUITCOM Notices, I found the 1131 Notice (Encl. 4) that has not been updated since June 2014. Is this what you are referring to?

When I do a google search I can find an copy of this from NPC that was updated in Feb 15. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CB4QFjAAahUKEwjCrdbforjHAhWS4IAKHdKkAS8&url=http://www.npc.navy.mil/bupers-npc/career/careercounseling/Documents/FY15_Board_Working_Schedule%20-%20Rev%204%2019Feb2015.xlsx&ei=2RnWVYLdOJLBgwTSyYb4Ag&usg=AFQjCNGtZVg0ttY0onDI8_PAk41PZq9HUA

Its awkward during an interview when a Navy Captain ask you "when is the next board?"

It used to be they would only put one out about every year, then they would cancel boards if needed, they are changing how often boards are done so they very well may not have it all figured out yet, many have going to once per year for reserves.

@Intel_Hopeful I've seen and heard nothing. Using google-fu, I have checked NPC, NRC, BOL, blogs and elsewhere; even used my CAC on some sites. Whoever has the hardcopy is not sharing.

The info you are looking for is not published anywhere, it is only sent out via email to NRD's in a pdf format, and it doesn't say 34% for IP, it will have a list of those pro Y and a list of those pro N, it is up to the people at NRD to do the math.
