Everybody says this that but truly I don't think nobody knows what they want???? Im curious to know the selections based on race and genders?

The keep track of them but it isn't a factor in selection, if NRC feels the selections are lacking they have us look for people of those demographics to apply more.

Thank you! I was rather certain my educational background would be a detriment, actually. Like I said, I was very surprised I was picked up.

Re. race/gender statistics -- I think knowing these kinds of things is really important and they don't get talked about much on the forum from what I've seen. Have you seen this breakdown? I found it while lurking a while back. It has good statistics on race, ethnicity, gender, age, educational background, etc. from past boards.

In terms of leadership, that was the one area of my kit that my OR kept saying might disqualify me since I did not have the kinds of quantifiable leadership experiences that others in the business or military world have. But I made the case in my interviews and in my letter of motivation that as a teacher I'm a leader in the classroom and in my department. I'm also an advisor in an undergraduate residence.

Those stats are for Active Duty applicants.

Same for me. Recruiter still saying things are in process.

Is there any chance there is an additional board, or that some of the applicants needed some due diligence before making a decision? I know on some USMC board applicants can be delayed (versus denied) for medical or other administrative reasons.

So strange that we are hearing different things for the supposedly same process.

All the names are out. It seems whether the Recruitor has the list or not is different. My recruitor got the list from someone. Seems like an interesting process, but it is a good introduction to the Navy.

Hi, my interviews are set up for the January 2018 INTEL board. Can anyone please answer a quick question. Do the interviewers ask INTEL related questions? And how long does the interview usually last? I am prior Navy Operations Specialist

How your interview goes is subject to the people running it. You could be asked relevant questions, but probably be prepared to talk about leadership and why you would be a good fit. Give yourself time and expect it to be like any other interview for a job. Dress sharp!

I echo this, all leadership questions and they ask you what you know about the program some questions about your background overall.

Thanks everyone. I plan on wearing a suit. My buddy who is DCO INTEL told me they asked him INTEL related questions (specific questions only people in the INTEL field would know), but I'm guessing that's because he was an INTEL Specialist before he commissioned. Just trying to get a feel of what to study before the interview.

You could be asked current events questions. You can't be expected to know classified information, but you should have a general idea of world events. Stay away from opinions in these answers and stick to general information. You need to show you take an interest in world events.

This may be a long shot but can anyone confirm if in PRIDEMOD it lists status as PRN to mean anything other than prorec no?

My recruiter can't find the complete list on SharePoint. I assume PRN means no go for me.
