OCS December 2016 IWC Board

Making Recruiting Great Again
That's a good question actually - do we need to complete our TS/SCI before going to OCS?
You need to do a TS-SCI PRESCREEN interview to determine if you're even eligible for one. Your recruiter should give you instructions on what to do and what it entails.

Thanks for the response.

So assuming I am eligible, would that be the last step before waiting on a starting date?

I just recieved an email today asking me to meet with my SSO to take care of the SCI pre-screen interview. I should be able to knock that out tomorrow. Are FINSELs starting to trickle out yet?

Nope. I finished and passed my SCI pre-screening last week. My recruiter said that the FINSEL is the next step but I assume that might not come for awhile.

I'm interested to see what the stats are for this board. Seems like a lot of people got picked up
I think RUFIO had posted a while back that the Intel selects were a couple percent higher in response to one of my post, but otherwise I think info that was posted everything else was about standard, unless I am thinking of the previous board.

I would caution that the number of people that post here is a fraction of total applicants.

Thank you for that. I found his breakdown. I remember there was a powerpoint floating around with in depth statistics on the applicants who were & weren't selected. How often are those released?

So I haven't recieved a FINSEL yet, but I happened to check NSIPS Friday evening, and I have a set of orders there for the 2 April class. I'm going to try and get in touch with the gentleman from NRC who said I would be in the 23 April class tomorrow to find out if I can move back to the right, as my language training and test are already scheduled around the later class.
