Balancing Training and Working & Ground vs Air

Good Afternoon All,

I was hoping I could get some advice on 2 separate issues.
First: Work/School/Training Balance
I applied to OCC for the class that graduated today (223) but I was not selected. Instead, I elected to start work as a teacher in a rural area an hour away from where I live and continue working on my Masters (Math). However about 2 months in I realized that I wanted/needed the Marine Corps back in my life so I began reapplying. I'm training for the next board in March (female),working full time as a teacher, directing a play (in teaching contract), and I'm working on my Masters. I know there's only so many hours in the day but I want to best utilize them, especially for PT. So far I've dropped 11 pounds (10 more to reach my goal) and 3 minutes on my run time (30:32-27:05). It's a good start but clearly I need work. I can max the new 115 crunches with 5 seconds to spare but I can only do half a pull up and I need to be able to do 10. I'm currently doing the novice Major Posey program and I can feel the difference. But what can I do to push myself more and maximize my time? I'm usually up at 430 to run 3 days a week and then in my car at 630 to drive to work. I usually get home at 1930 or 2030 and then I do pull up workouts. What else could I do? Weekends I do long runs (Sat) and Yoga (Sun).

My second question is Ground vs. Air. I'm not super great at PT(see above) but I do have a pretty solid and technical mind (Masters-Math). How could invest help Marines: in the Ground forces like finance or supply or up in the Air as an NFO?(My eyesight is too poor to be a pilot). Has anyone else ever faced this dilemma? What are the pros and cons of each?

Something big that helped me get better physically was just consistency. A poor plan kept to well is better than a great plan kept to poorly. Some variety is necessary as well. I can provide you a whole bunch of fitness plans I've found online if you PM me, but admittedly they're designed for male candidates, so you'd have to tweak as necessary.
