Here is an idea for shipping. Before you select a company to ship your car, research the transport companies from the internet. Choose a trustworthy company and go to their website for further information. Don't give the personal details before you got the quotes. Don't go with the cheapest priced companies, Better to go with middle priced companies. Make a document of your car about the mileage before and after shipping. Trucks are weighted limited has so removed the personal or important and unwanted items from your car.

I'll plug National Auto Transport that was recommended here. I bought a car in IL and had it shipped to VA for cheaper than the dealer could do it for me. They beat the dealer by a few hundred AND did it about a week quicker.

Thread resurrection. Any recent recommendations on auto transport companies? National or Golden Key still the top ones?

Depends on how much you love your car. We always kinda hoped they’d roll the trailer so we’d get a new one.

Convinced the spousal unit to drive from FL to Minneapolis and then I’d take a one way back from SeaTac to finish.

Those big hubs make for cheap (yours is free) airfare and a fun two-day tour of I-90/94..

Don’t want to put any miles on the car unfortunately.

Golden Key x2, assuming he can come far enough south to get you. Plus his rig is covered, which is nice for the vehicle and the post-travel cleanup.

I’ve used Passport twice and they’ve been great but it depends on where you’re going and timing.

Aaron at Summit Auto Transport is the man. He is very active on the Land Cruiser Forums (IH8MUD.COM) and everyone has excellent things to say at their experiences.
Here's the website: https://summitautotransport.com/ , but I'd just give him a shout to see what your options are.
Good luck.

Shipping from San Diego to Florida. If he can only take it to north Florida that’s fine too. I’ve got a quote request in and will give them a call later today. Problem is I have a time constraint so may have to find someone that’s got a schedule that matches. Fun fun.

Yeah, I think his rotation is about every 3 weeks-ish or so. That particular driver is out of central CA, so he's back regularly. I don't think he goes that far south of I-10, but I could be wrong about that part.

Homesick or tired of the expense?

Check out Passport or Reliable Auto Transport. That will be an easy trip for them as they have trucks going all the time on that route. Do you want enclosed or open? I think they’re enclosed only but you can check.
