We've been issuing V-22 orders at the "A" school in Pensacola to junior sailors beginning a couple months ago. Its happening, welcome to the world of Tiltrotor!
The V-22 cabin is a mess of exposed wiring and plumbing - hope they put some soundproofing back there.

I can't remember how many there are, but it seems as if there were 5 or 6 on each side facing each other.

What will happen with the C-2 planes?

Can they be retrofit into Hawkeyes?

Continue to use them as-is until they lifespan out?

No. Just like every other sundowning airplane - as the transition progresses and they're no longer needed, they get to go to a nice retirement home in Arizona.

I didn't think it was bad at all with normal ear pro.

Also...
While the lighting is nice in some of the spiffed up VIP birds, the rest of it is not desireable from a COD perspective. We want to be able to quickly access the maintainable parts.
