Honestly, if this is true. Then go get your skydiving license. You'll learn not only how to jump, but how to control/move yourself through space and how to steer the chute. Airborne will teach you to fall and probably get hurt but not die. Like PLF training at API

Then what's the point? Why bother going through the pain of jump school?

As others have pointed out if you want to learn how to jump go do it on your own dime as it will likely be more fun with the same end result of falling from an airplane.
