Bro you need to sit down and have a beer. Here's Hotdog's career advice:

The six simple steps to help you get orders where you want (assuming you have quals):

1) Walk into meeting with your detailer/monitor
2) Drop a six pack of his favorite (properly researched of course) beer on the desk
3) Tell him that you want XYZ orders and if you don't get them you'll drop your papers
4) He'll say fuck you and call your bluff....
5) Pull out said paperwork and put in on the desk in front of him/her...
6) Tell him the ball is in your court and walk the fuck out.

I have seen this tactic (minus the beer) work many times.

I've seen the bluff called on a few folks too.

60 percent of the time, it works every time.

If you're willing to get out if it doesn't work, definitely worth a shot. YMMV.

Pretty impressive stuff from AF...

Construct. Algorithmic. Revolutionary leaps. Transformational.

Beware the acquisition buzzwords. Revolutionary leaps? More like huge wastes of money and distractors.

These fucking idiots might as well dig a hole in the ground, dump a ton of money into it, and light it on fire. Buy more planes, put more billets into the training command, and voila....you'll get more pilot throughput. Evolutionary, not revolutionary.

My understanding is that the Navy picked dudes out of API to participate in that program with the AF as well, and they are all guaranteed to fly the 45 after whatever they do in Austin (apparently replacing a lot of flying/SIMs with VR stuff) and the AF guys are going straight to the F16 from the T-6, skipping the T38. Based on the VR stuff around Krock that does not resemble in any way flying an aircraft, or even the simulator, I have no idea how this is going to help anyone, and I can’t imagine going from the T-6 straight to the F-16. Also not sure how that helps retention at all either.

They still look stupid with their sleeves rolled in.
I had flashbacks of VAFB watching that, reminded me why they are having retention issues. They really know how to take the fun out of a job
And AF dudes still tell me that our FOD flaps, steel toed boots and junk torso harnesses/survival vests are dorky (@HuGgYu2 )
