Affixing patches to brown leather flight jacket

I have gold wings, name first and last and then United States Navy below it. Don't put anything on the jacket you don't want there permanently since changing patches or resewing anything with cause more damage than it's worth.

In the real world, no one's ever said crap to me about my jacket or what's on it, be it layered squadron patches or the "non-reg" flag on the sleeve. Wear what you like on your jacket (within reason), after all, it's your jacket.

Or ... Just get a nylon/nomex for your patches and keep the leather relatively 'pristine' ... At least nothing that will need to be updated.

Or ... Get two leathers ...

Or ... Get multiple nylon/nomex's ...

Or ... :)

Wings and name. Got the TG patch last summer, and still debating on whether or not to put it on the jacket. I've kept mine "virgin" and no one's said a thing about it. We'll see how long that lasts.
