SWO generally have a pretty long wait time, I'm not completely sure why.. just seems to be the reality.

I was professionally recommended in October. My OR gave me a tentative of June/July. I think 7 - 8 months is the general wait time. Unless you're an age priority or something like that.

My recruiter said that I could potentially be slotted for the July 1st class or close to it. He seemed to think that I should definitely be in by mid-late August at the latest.
I graduate this spring so I can’t get my FINSEL until at least that date but he seemed to think it would take more than 2-4 months after I graduate in may.

Blue Angels Command LPO (Frontman)
I was selected for AMDO and SWO on the recent boards. I took AMDO as it was my first choice. I was told to expect a ship date between Nov-Feb and neither designator would get me shipped any quicker than the other.
