so checking in.... now trying to get my running shoes situation dialed in. What's your guys thoughts? traditional running, or cross training style shoes? Also do we have a facebook group yet?

In my personal experience, I prefer traditional running shoes, particularly Asics. I've found that cross training shoes have less support and/or cushioning so theyre lighter and easier to do exercises like squats in, kind of like minimalist shoes. If you really want to get your shoes dialed in go to a running store and let them watch you run. And yes here is the link https://www.facebook.com/groups/1064274820304416/

i'm running in some really steady brooks running shoes. Was considering a minimalist style shoe for the cross training and obstacle courses we might have to do..... plus brooks are heavy as hell when it comes to doing leg raises. I've been running with super feet green Insoles as well.... thinking about trying to go back to normal.... but might not be a good idea. Don't want plantar flairing up during ocs. I'm finding my foot striking landing on the outside of the foot, and rolling towards my big toe. Not sure if this is good or bad. The arch is a bit too high for my flat feet.... sadly they don't make size 16 super feet blues :(. If any of you big time runners have some suggestions on quality shoes let me know
