2018 AMDO Board

I submitted my application on the 4th and haven't heard anything about needing a 2807-2. How long did it take for them to tell you that you needed the 2807-2 form? Paul Celestin (who sent receipt of my application) isn't in his office, but I guess I'll call Ted Williams tomorrow and make sure my application processed properly.
I sent mine in last Tuesday, the 9th, and never heard anything back. Nothing saying it was received or anything.

I submitted mine on the 9th and heard something back the 11th saying what I needed. I specifically called and spoke with Ted Williams and he definitely said we need it. Two other people I know that are submitting for AMDO had to do the same thing. You might want to call up there just to make sure they received your package. You should have received an email saying they received it at the least.

901-874-9044 I have also tried about five other numbers that are all listed on the SWO page on NPC. I understand today no one was working due to weather so I will try again tomorrow. I did go ahead and resubmit my application with the medical form update as well as attached a read receipt to the email. So we shall see. I will trying calling again tomorrow. The last thing I want is months of work that went into preparing this package and it not even be seen.

Also I spoke with the OCM this morning and he was livid to say the least. First off he was never told anything about the deadline changing from the 19th to the 12th and this whole ordeal with the medical forms was news as well. As far as fleet applicants go, if it wasn't for this unofficial website, some of us would not be making this board.

I was wondering why no one was answering today.

Lol I know right. Yea Ted Williams is one of the two people in the navy that receives all ocs packages through that email you emailed your package to. So it seems like he finds things out before the rest of the fleet does.

So I found out that they have been out of the office in millington Friday, Monday, and yesterday and they have a 2 hour delay today because of weather. That is probably why no one is answering and no response has been given.

Just got off the phone with the help desk.
1) don’t worry about the deadline change the January 19th deadline stands so don’t stress.
2) get your 2807-2 signed and e-Mailed before Friday. I was instructed to just scan and send the individual form not the whole package. But It’s up to you guys and girls.
3) they are replying to the emails with attached packages in the order they were received, but I got confirmation they got mine over the phone. Mr. Celestin is out until the 22 so Mr. Williams is a one man show right now.

Got an email from Mr. Williams about 15 mins ago stating my package was processed and deemed PQ for OCS.

I submitted my package a few weeks back and Paul Celestin said it was ready to go. I am still curious whether its is actually ready to go or not especially since the addition of the 2807-2. Anybody else submitted through Paul Celestin and had no 2807-2?
I am jumping through hoops right now trying to get the 2807-2, I'm on leave and its really difficult to get it done by Friday.

I submitted my package last week and never heard anything back. I resubmitted yesterday along with the 2807-2. The email I received today stating my package was processed was a reply to the original email I sent last week, not the follow up I submitted yesterday. Nor did I receive a read receipt back, which doesn't mean much. I'm curious as to if the email and docs I resubmitted yesterday that included the 2807-2 was even reviewed. Either way it was processed and pushed to the board.

Im on the same boat, when I submitted mine without it Paul said that he has gone through the package looking for discrepancies and it was good to go.
I will keep calling them today to verify but then again Paul is on leave until the 22nd.

My SEL said that the E-mail she got from Paul said it was in for processing.
You think I should be good without the 2807-2?

901-874-9044 I spoke with Ted Williams this morning. He did not specify anything about the 2807-2, but I also didn't ask. The email I received stated

"Your OCS application was processed for purpose of attending the AMDO 21 February, 2018 board. You have been determined physically qualified for OCS. Board results will be posted on BUPERS BOL within weeks after the board is in session." So with that being stated the medical form wasn't brought up. The only reason I called was because the email specifically called out my package going to the AMDO board and I wanted to verify it was also going to the other board I was applying for.

From Paul Celestin (submitted without 2807-2),

"Your OCS Application has been received and is in process for board consideration (AMDO-15200), If anything else is needed you will be contacted via the information provided on the page 1 of the OCS Application, so please ensure this page always remain current. If you have any questions please call or email, contact information is provided below."

I got this on January 4th. Haven't heard anything since. I spoke with my LT and he said my application is completed and not to worry about it if I haven't been contacted.
