I still haven't been able to see my results in BOL, and neither has my command. The only reason I know I was PROREC: Y was because I called up Mr. Ted Williams the Fleet OCS Processor. He also emailed me after stating the same thing. Not sure how this is going to effect me in the future when its time to start signing stuff.

I believe everything goes through the co you listed in the application. They reached out to mine yesterday about when I can be released to attend, so my command is seeing if I can make the 4 June since my wife is due with baby 2 in September and that is the only class I can make the birth. It seems like a quick turnaround

There isn't such thing as SWO-Intel, only SWO-IP and SWO-CW options. Don't know where the miscommunication came from there. Also, the DUI pretty much seals your fate getting picked up. The way I explain to applicants, if I, an already-commissioned officer got a DUI my career would be over. The boards take it the same way for someone applying to be an officer. Ditto with other serious misdemeanor offenses.
Thank you for all the information my recruiter seemed very optimistic about my chances getting in. I actually tried applying through a recruiter in Pensacola FL but he said there was no way the CO would approve my waivers so he suggested I try a different district so I went through a recruiter in Denver and they got me a waivers almost immediately. I was also hoping the fact that my DUI was 7 years ago (age 21) that it would finally not be held against me. I'm honestly not sure what to do anymore I have been trying to get in for over a year and wonder if I will ever get the opportunity to serve.

Just received bad news guys. I was Pro Rec-N. I'm really surprised and don't understand it given my scores and rec's but you roll with the punches. Before you all ask... I have no legal, moral, drug, or medical waivers. President of my fraternity. SWO was my first choice.

I would ask when the next SWO board is but I know that a good friend of mine would say one of two things: Have you used the search bar? Have you asked your recruiter? :)

Maybe this is God telling me to go SNA or NFO. Best wishes to all selected. I'm not giving up on my dream.

As I mentioned before, getting a DUI is a showstopper as a career naval officer. If I got a DUI today, my career is toast. If I didn't get the boot from the navy, most certainly I wouldn't be able to promote with that blemish.

I think the only designator I have seen pick people with a DUI is for SNA

Understood, still disappointed hate having one life event so long ago dictate my future. I just don't understand why this recruiter was so optimistic about it. But anyways no point dragging this out any longer I appreciate everyone's input and responses I wish you all all the best in your future endeavors
