Neat, I got in.

My OR and I were on separate frequencies and he was under the impression that I was looking for a later board, and I ended up getting the paperwork in at like 3PM on deadline day. He said he'd try to get it crammed through but not to expect anything of it, told me the next day that it didn't work out and I'd be up for the August board. Turns out the guy he had leaned on did get it through but he didn't bother to let my OR know. So today I got notified that I was PROREC Y for a board I didn't even know was considering me!

Glad that worked out, heh. Hope it works out for y'all too!

Definitely was initially discouraged and was going to retake the ASTB but was advised by an OR I work with not to because the rest of my package was solid.

Also, 3.0 (GPA) BS Human Resource Management & 3.6 (GPA) M.B.A (graduate in 3 weeks)

Perhaps. Mine never posted for the NFO board I was PROREC'd for last month. But I already received my FINSEL letter. So I was surprised to see they posted anything following this SWO board.
